Aaron Taos has been on our map for awhile and we’ve been impressed with his work for a long time. With the latest piece released just today, “Saboteur” takes the listener on a sonic journey through the earlier years of sound. It’s impressive when a piece is able to transcend beyond decades especially with all the empty or mind numbing music coming out nowadays. Aaron Taos is one of the many examples there’s still meaningful music with a message that’s wrapped nicely with an authentic presentation.
We relate a ton to the message when at times it feels we end up being our own worst enemy. Surely the inability to see a clear direction in life is a feeling that resonates with many. As Steve Jobs said:
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”
With the decade rounding out and this being one of our last posts, we want to wish everyone a happy holiday and new year to come! For us, the new year comes a time of renewal and an opportunity to reflect on what’s been. We’ll do our best to continue on growing while also working on not being our worst enemy as well. Cheers.
